1xBet has been confirmed as the official betting partner for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The partnership marks 1xBet’s latest move in expanding its involvement in esports, particularly around Counter-Strike 2 (CS2).
BLAST has positioned itself as one of the most prominent tournament organizers in CS2, hosting the first Major for the game last year in Copenhagen. The Austin Major continues that momentum, with a prize pool of $1.25 million and a lineup featuring many of the world’s top teams.
1xBet, an international online betting platform founded in 2007, has increasingly targeted esports as a growth sector, adding partnerships with various teams and event organizers as well as work in traditional sports. The company’s branding will appear across BLAST’s global broadcast and digital platforms throughout the event.
This partnership adds to BLAST’s growing commercial roster. They have partnered with Encore to bring esports to in-flight entertainment on various airlines, as well as naming Blacklyte the official gaming chair partner of the Austin Major.
The Austin Major is the second CS2 Major since the game replaced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and the first to be held in North America since 2018. It features a 32-team format, with eight teams directly invited to the third and final stage of the tournament. The remaining squads will compete through the opening two Swiss stages, culminating in a live playoff event at the Moody Center in Austin from June 19-22.
