Ubisoft and BLAST have announced the next two major destinations in the Rainbow Six Siege X esports calendar, and there is a lot to celebrate for fans in Europe.
The 2025 BLAST R6 Major is set to take place from 8-16 November in Munich, marking the first time the German city will host a Rainbow Six Siege event. The first phase of the tournament will be held behind closed doors from 8-11 November, with select public matches at the BMW Park Arena on 14, 15, and 16 November.
With Stage 2 of the BLAST R6 season fast approaching, teams from around the world are preparing for the race to Munich. The top 16 squads from regional leagues will qualify for the Major, where they’ll battle it out for a share of the $750,000 prize pool.
As for the pinnacle of the Rainbow Six Siege competitive season, the Six Invitational is set to take place in Paris, France, in February 2026, a return to the French capital after last hosting the event in 2021. The prize pool for the crowning event has not yet been confirmed, though there was $3,000,000 on the line in 2025.
Chrystina Martel, Executive Producer of Rainbow Six, said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring the BLAST Rainbow Six Major to Germany for the second time and for the very first time to the vibrant city of Munich. With 16 of the world’s top teams competing over eight days of high-stakes action, fans can expect an unforgettable tournament experience.
“And with the Six Invitational set to return to Paris early next year, we’re especially thrilled that this time it won’t be behind closed doors… These events represent more than just competition; they’re a celebration of the global Rainbow Six community and a major opportunity for both host cities.”
Nelson Garcia, Associate Director of Esports Live Events & Broadcast at Ubisoft, added: “Munich and Paris are both incredible cities… Returning to Paris for the Six Invitational feels especially meaningful—it’s not only our home base, but also a place with deep roots in our esports journey.”
BLAST have been making themselves incredibly busy recently, confirming a Dota 2 event in Singapore, expansion into the US with a new BLAST New York office, and the upcoming BLAST Austin Major, where The Esports Radar is hosting the Global Esports Industry Week.
