Esports organization Cloud9 has announced a partnership with Theta Network to develop an AI-powered chatbot named Nimbus, aimed at enhancing fan engagement through real-time data, personalized insights, and interactive experiences.

The initiative leverages Theta Network’s infrastructure, which will enable Nimbus to deliver up-to-date tournament information and Cloud9 team statistics via platforms such as Discord and the Cloud9 website. The chatbot will also utilize Riot Games APIs to provide live match updates.

In addition to its informational features, Nimbus will integrate with Club9, Cloud9’s fan loyalty program. Fans will be able to earn points by interacting with the chatbot, progressing toward rewards and enhanced access within the Club9 ecosystem. This integration is also expected to offer Cloud9 new insights into fan behavior and engagement patterns.
