Cyberlabs, a company dedicated to advancing digital entertainment globally within education, sports, community, and leisure venues, has officially opened a gaming box at The Valley in London, the home stadium of English Football League club Charlton Athletic FC.
Located in the Alan Curbishley stand, the Cyberlabs Gaming Box features consoles, PC Gaming Desk Setups provided by UNEVN, immersive VR, X Rocker chairs, Corsair peripherals, and a X3000i BenQ projector, along with seating inside and features to create a “Charlton welcome lounge” atmosphere.
The Box, which will be available for matchday and non-matchday experiences, has been designed for multi-purpose use, including esports, streaming, and podcasts.
Cyberlabs Co-Founder Sam Cooke, lifelong Charlton fan and former board member of CAST (Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust), said: “We’re really happy to have the box now ready to go and get the first fans in. The Northampton match was a fantastic debut for the box (the massive three points certainly helped), and we’re looking forward to the space being used regularly.
“We’re genuinely excited to bring something different and special to The Valley for a matchday, but equally so for the potential of what it can do for the club and community trust for non-matchday activity too. As a huge fan of the club, it’s an honour to have this opportunity and we hope it’ll show Charlton leading the way across clubs nationwide.”

Steve Sutherland, Head of Commercial at Charlton Athletic FC, noted: “We are excited to welcome the Cyberlabs Gaming Box to our matchday and non-matchday offerings here at The Valley in the Alan Curbishley Stand. It is a state of the art and visually stunning addition, and we are confident that Cyberlabs will create memorable experiences for our supporters.”
Enquiries an bookings for the Cyberlabs Gaming Box can be made through the company’s website. Cyberlabs previously partnered with Charlton Athletic in February 2024, sponsoring a Women’s FA Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur.
