The Esports World Cup Foundation has announced the launch of Heroes Club, a new year-long VIP programme aimed at recognising and supporting the winners of Esports World Cup (EWC) tournaments beyond the competition stage.

The initiative is part of the Foundation’s “Beyond Victory” strategy and will provide exclusive access, visibility, and off-stage opportunities to players who win an EWC game competition in 2025. Each champion will receive a one-year membership, valid until the next EWC tournament in that specific title.

Heroes Club is designed around the needs of elite players and includes a range of high-end benefits such as premium hospitality at global events including the NFL Super Bowl, Formula 1, and the UEFA Champions League Finals. Members will also gain access to a private digital platform for curated opportunities, concierge support, exclusive travel perks, early access to new games, and a personalised membership card.

Faisal Bin Homran, Chief Product Officer at the Esports World Cup Foundation, stated: “The launch of the Heroes Club is another important step in our long-term commitment to building a sustainable future for esports. Just as the largest prize pool in esports history rewards excellence, the Heroes Club recognises what follows. It’s about going beyond victory – giving EWC champions the tools to grow their profiles, unlocking a new world full of opportunities and extending their impact beyond the main stage.”

The programme was unveiled alongside the previously announced $70 million prize pool for EWC 2025, the largest in esports history. According to the Foundation, the initiative reflects its stated mission “to create meaningful opportunities and sustainable career paths for players and esports Clubs,” and “building a stronger, more inclusive esports ecosystem.”

The 2024 edition of the Esports World Cup saw over 2,200 professional players from 452 teams compete across 21 titles, with more than 80 players receiving Heroes Club status. Some of those champions were invited to attend major global events earlier this year, including the Super Bowl, Call of Duty Ultra Major I, and the UEFA Champions League Final – illustrating the scale of access the initiative provides.
