Esports organisation Gaimin Gladiators has officially opened its new $1 million boot camp and training facility in Lisbon, Portugal, offering a space for elite competitive practice and content creation.

The facility has multiple boot camp rooms fitted with top-tier PCs, dedicated coaching spaces, and relaxation zones featuring VR setups, PlayStations, and comfortable lounge areas. It also has a fully stocked kitchen, while the trophy display celebrates key wins for the Gladiators, including the Dota 2 team’s Berlin Major victory in 2023.

Co-Founder and President Nick Cuccovillo described the project on LinkedIn as “more than just a space,” saying, “It’s a place for our players to train, grow, and keep chasing greatness… built to feel like home.” The Lisbon HQ also serves as a co-working base for Gaimin’s business operations and media team, with offices, meeting rooms, and a full content studio.

The organisation is opening the facility to other teams ahead of major events like the upcoming Esports World Cup 2025, where Gaimin Gladiators will again be competing. “We’re opening it up to other teams too, whether you’re prepping for a major event or just need a solid bootcamp setup,” Cuccovillo added.

Founded in 2022, Gaimin Gladiators have quickly risen through the esports ranks, boasting top-tier rosters in Dota 2, Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Overwatch. Their Dota 2 team, in particular, remains one of the most dominant forces globally, with a stacked trophy case to show for it.

The facility is a major milestone for the organisation and its partners, which includes brands like SteelSeries and Winline. Cuccovillo reflected on the project’s significance: “There’s a real sense of pride here… when other teams walk in and immediately feel part of GG, that’s when you know it’s special.”
