Esports organisation Gen.G has announced the opening of GGX (Gen.G Gaming Xperience), a venue in Seoul, South Korea, that aims to blend competitive gaming with lifestyle and cultural experiences.
Spanning 1,570 square meters, the multi-functional space houses 252 high-spec gaming stations, each fitted with NVIDIA GPUs, LG UltraGear monitors, Logitech peripherals, ultra-fast internet, and Gen.G x SIDIZ custom chairs. With an estimated value of KRW 4.5 million ($3,300) per station, GGX is designed to deliver an elite-level, immersive gaming experience. Both LG UltraGear and Logitech are currently sponsors of the organisation.
Beyond gameplay, GGX offers experiences across food, retail, and community programming. It features OTOKI G.ROUND, a lounge co-developed with Otoki serving exclusive signature menu items, alongside a dedicated merchandise store with Gen.G uniforms, partner collabs, and GGX-limited drops. A photo booth spotlighting Gen.G mascot GenRang and a 100-person capacity community lounge round out the fan-first offerings.
“GGX goes beyond just gaming – it’s a cultural hub where fans, players, and brands come together to create meaningful experiences. Through spaces like this and continued innovation, Gen.G aims to lead the sustainable growth of the esports industry,” said Steve Lee, Head of Partnerships at Gen.G.
GGX also integrates Gen.G Global Academy’s coaching programs, with classes led by former pro players, as well as regular fan meetups, watch parties, and brand activations.
Developed and operated by gaming IP specialist Superplay — known for spaces like T1 Basecamp Hongdae and Genshin PC Lounge — GGX is the culmination of months of collaborative work between the two companies.
“After months of development with the Gen.G team, we’re proud to finally unveil GGX. We hope it becomes a must-visit destination for gaming and esports fans from Korea and around the world,” said Junghyun Kim, CEO of Superplay.
