In-game data infrastructure company GRID has announced the launch of GRID Insights, an artificial intelligence-powered tool designed to deliver real-time, predictive context during live esports tournaments and betting broadcasts.

The product processes official in-game data to surface live narratives such as player streaks, weapon statistics, and record pursuits. These insights are tailored to specific broadcasts and audiences, with the aim of enhancing viewer engagement through data-driven storytelling.

“With GRID Insights, we’re building the storytelling engine of live esports, powered entirely by official data,” said GRID CEO Moritz Maurer. He noted that the platform uses real-time pipelines and AI models to generate statistics and behavioural predictions that previously required manual analysis.

GRID Insights is built on structured data provided through partnerships with game publishers and tournament organisers. It supports popular esports titles including Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT. The tool offers full customisation in terms of branding and output.

The tool was first used live during the Champion of Champions Tour Season 3. The European Pro League (EPL) is among the early adopters now integrating GRID Insights into its tournament broadcasts.

“GRID Insights is a game-changer for how fans engage with the action,” said Oleksii Krasnikov, CEO of EPL. He highlighted the product’s ability to deliver story-driven context instantly, making broadcasts more immersive for both dedicated followers and casual viewers.

GRID Insights reflects the company’s broader strategy to position itself at the intersection of artificial intelligence, live data, and interactive entertainment. GRID offers a demonstration of the product at its official website.
