Gaming technology platform GRID has announced the release of Game State, the latest development in its Widgets product line. The new offering aims to deliver a mobile-first, betting-focused experience that provides esports fans and betting operators with an integrated view of live match data, ahead of a packed summer of major tournaments.

Building on GRID’s existing widgets, Game State offers real-time match snapshots in a compact, all-in-one display tailored for in-play consumption. According to GRID, this update reflects the growing demand for mobile-optimised solutions in the esports space.

Key features of Game State include a responsive vertical interface for mobile users, detailed dashboards capturing match statistics, scores, economy data, timeline history, win probabilities, and more. The widgets also feature mini maps showing player positions, movement paths, and heatmaps across supported titles. Thanks to GRID’s rights holder relationships, the platform can display official team logos, player images, and other branding elements.

GRID’s Widgets now provide official data coverage for a broad range of titles, including Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Rainbow Six, and PUBG. The enhanced product arrives as GRID prepares to supply data for two major events this month: the BLAST.tv Major Austin Playoffs and the Valorant Masters Toronto. GRID holds exclusive official data rights for both competitions.

Mikael Westerling, Chief Sales Officer at GRID, stated that “with Game State, we’re bringing scoreboards, stats, maps, and momentum into a single, sleek experience — optimised for mobile, and purpose-built for the way esports fans and bettors engage today.”

The product aims to help sportsbooks enhance pre-match engagement, support live betting models, and drive acquisition and retention through data integration. GRID Widgets are now available to the company’s partners across betting, fantasy sports, and fan engagement platforms.

GRID’s latest release expands its product ecosystem, which includes the recently launched AI tool GRID Insights. The company says more solutions are planned to support esports rights holders, platforms, and betting operators.
