The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has announced a major new partnership with Lenovo, naming the tech giant’s Legion brand as the Official PC & Gaming Hardware Partner of the Esports World Cup 2025.

Players at the Esports World Cup will compete using Lenovo Legion hardware, including desktop towers, laptops, and peripherals. The setup will be consistent across training areas and tournament stages. Key models like the Legion Tower 7i and Tower 5i will be part of the event’s offering, utilizing high-end components such as NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 and 5070 Ti graphics cards, as well as advanced cooling systems designed to handle the demands of competitive play.

“We’re building the Esports World Cup to set a new global standard — in both competition and the technology behind it,” said Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at Esports World Cup Foundation. “Lenovo’s Legion brand understands what elite players need: speed, efficiency, and reliability under pressure.”

Volker Düring, VP of PC Gaming Business at Lenovo, added: “The Esports World Cup is the ultimate forum for the world’s best gamers to showcase their mettle and emerge at the top of the world leaderboards, and when the best gamers compete on Lenovo Legion devices, anything is possible.”

Lenovo’s Legion brand will feature prominently across EWC broadcasts, content, and on-site activations, with festival zones allowing fans to try out the gear themselves. The collaboration also includes digital storytelling and behind-the-scenes content across Lenovo’s social platforms.

The Esports World Cup returns to Riyadh from July 7 to August 24, 2025, with 25 tournaments across 24 games and a record-breaking $70 million prize pool.
