British esports organisation Method has announced a new partnership with Valhalla, an open-world play-to-win MMORPG inspired by Norse mythology. The game, developed by the team behind the FLOKI ecosystem, strong aligns with Method’s roots in MMORPG competition.

As part of the partnership, Valhalla will be prominently featured on Method’s new jersey, including the collar and sleeve. In addition, Method players, ambassadors, and streamers will showcase the game to their communities through streams and content.

Valhalla allows players to assume the role of Viking warriors navigating a 3D world, capturing and battling creatures using strategic turn-based combat. The game incorporates blockchain-based play-to-earn mechanics and forms part of the broader FLOKI ecosystem.

Commenting on the partnership, Liam Whitehead, Sales & Partnerships Manager at Method, said to be “very excited for this collaboration with Valhalla and expansion of our Method Guides. Valhalla have taken incredible strides in building one of the biggest communities in Web3, and we cannot wait to show our community just what awaits them in Valhalla.”

Method’s content team will also be producing guides, tier lists and other materials to support players engaging with Valhalla following its launch.

Pedro Vidal, Community Relations Officer at FLOKI, added: “We are extremely excited with this partnership as we deliver on the promises made to our community that Valhalla will change the blockchain p2e game industry for the better.

“Our flagship utility product was a massive undertaking and great addition to the MMORPG genre with enhanced play-to-earn mechanics and robust treasury. The game development team has worked around the clock for several years to get us to this point. This is truly only the beginning. The partnership with Method is a natural evolution for our brand exposure to millions of passionate gamers around the world.”

Valhalla will also be supporting Method’s ongoing quest for a 13th Race to World First (RWF) title. The RWF is a high-profile competitive event within the World of Warcraft community. It can last several days, often featuring round-the-clock gameplay, livestreams, and commentary. For organisations like Method, the RWF is a major moment of visibility within the MMORPG and broader esports scene.
