OG Esports Co-Founder Sebastien ‘Ceb’ Debs has officially stepped away from the organisation’s Dota 2 division to take on a new challenge in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).

The veteran player and two-time The International champion has been named Technical Director of SRG.OG — a joint MLBB team formed by OG and Malaysian organisation Selangor Red Giants (SRG).

His departure from Dota 2 signals a new chapter, as he aims to bring his experience to the growing MLBB scene through SRG.OG. The joint project reflects OG’s ongoing expansion beyond its Dota 2 roots — earlier this year, it also announced an Honor of Kings roster and was confirmed as the Western Europe partner for the game.

After starting his competitive career in 2011, Ceb first joined OG as a coach in 2016. He later stepped into the offlane role in 2018 following a roster shuffle, helping lead OG to back-to-back TI titles in 2018 and 2019, a first in Dota 2 history.

Though he officially retired from pro play in 2021, Ceb remained active within the OG setup, frequently filling in as a stand-in for the team. Most recently, he competed at PGL Wallachia Season 3 in March 2025, his final appearance for OG’s Dota roster, with the team bowing out during the Group Stage.

OG has seen other internal changes in recent months, including the appointment of Daniel Sanders as Chief Executive Officer and Silja Sundstein as Chief Operating Officer. These moves indicate a broader evolution within the organisation as it positions itself across new competitive titles and global regions.
