Saudi Arabian esports organisation Team Falcons has announced a new partnership with energy drink brand Red Bull. The announcement was made via the team’s official Facebook page, stating, “The Falcon has doubled its Wings. Falcons X Red Bull. Welcome Red Bull to the Falcons Flock.”

Due to the odd way of announcing the partnership, counting only on a photo on the post featuring F1 Red Bull Racing Driver Max Verstappen holding a Team Falcons jersey, details regarding the scope and nature of the partnership have not been disclosed. However, Team Falcons’ Global Director of Esports, Grant Rousseau, confirmed on social media that it is a “long term partnership,” not just one to span the Esports World Cup.

Red Bull has an established presence in the esports industry, having partnered with organisations and tournaments such as Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) and the DreamHack. These collaborations have included jersey branding, content creation, and event activations. Recently, the company appointed Serkan Levent as its new Head of Gaming and Esports Marketing

Based in Saudi Arabia, Team Falcons rose to a prime status after investing across a multiple range of esports, becoming the current champion club of the Esports World Cup. The organisation has previously engaged in partnerships with brands such as Barns Coffee and NEO Digital Banking.
