Global esports organisation Team Liquid has announced a new partnership with Zenni Optical, naming the American eyewear retailer as its Official Eyewear Partner.
The agreement focuses on promoting eye health in gaming, offering both players and fans access to stylish, high-performance eyewear at affordable prices. According to a post by Team Liquid on LinkedIn, Zenni will release an exclusive Team Liquid eyewear collection, blending its frame and lens technologies with Team Liquid’s creative identity.
“Our players’ vision is just as critical as their mechanics. Partnering with Zenni lets us elevate both health and performance, while giving our fans access to affordable eyewear that looks and feels great,” said Steve Arhancet, Co-CEO of Team Liquid, in a statement reported by VentureBeat. The partnership will also see four Team Liquid stars from its League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, and fighting game rosters lead content and messaging efforts, showcasing their favourite frames on streams and social media.
Robb Chiarini, Head of Partnerships, Licensing and Events at Zenni Optical, described also on LinkedIn the partnership as an extension of a decade-long collaboration across multiple organisations. He highlighted Zenni’s aim to enhance player wellness, visual clarity, comfort and style, while supporting “one of the most passionate communities in the world”.
The partnership comes as Team Liquid continues to strengthen its commercial portfolio, following the loss of Honda earlier this year after a controversy involving a social media post by one of its Rainbow Six Siege players. The Zenni deal follows another recent signing with Blacklyte.
