Team Liquid has announced a new partnership with gaming furniture brand Blacklyte, which will not only sponsor the organisation but also collaborate on the development of a co-branded chair.
The partnership will see Blacklyte products integrated into Team Liquid’s operations, including their competitive setups and community activations, giving fans opportunities to experience the same equipment used by the organisation’s professional players.
According to Team Liquid, its players and staff will provide feedback and participate in consultation sessions to help design a chair that prioritises ergonomics, functionality, and style.
This agreement continues a busy period for Blacklyte, which has recently expanded its presence in esports through other partnerships, including deals with BLAST for the Austin Major 2025 and with OverActive Media for its Movistar KOI and Toronto Ultra franchises.
The collaboration sends a message of Team Liquid’s efforts to strengthen its commercial portfolio following the departure of major sponsor Honda earlier this year.
