French esports organisation Team Vitality has launched a new campaign titled “V.University“, aimed at bolstering its presence in the North American market. The initiative draws inspiration from the aesthetics and tradition of American Ivy League universities, as the organisation looks to deepen its connection with esports fans in the region.
The campaign will coincide with Team Vitality’s participation in several major competitions across North America. The organisation’s Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster is set to showcase the campaign during upcoming appearances at IEM Dallas and the Austin Major. Simultaneously, its Rocket League team will represent the brand at the Raleigh Major.
As part of the campaign, Team Vitality has unveiled the “Vitality University 2025 Jersey”, developed in collaboration with Danish sportswear brand hummel. According to the announcement, the jersey is also part of a broader lifestyle collection under the V.University banner.
“The US is home to one of the largest and most passionate esports communities, making it a natural step in Team Vitality’s ongoing international expansion,” commented Fabien “Neo” Devide, President and Co-Founder of Team Vitality, at the announcement’s press release. “With V.University, we’re not just growing our presence, we’re creating a unique platform that brings fans closer to the Team Vitality experience in a way that no other organisation has done before.”
The launch is not the only expansion move announced by Team Vitality in the last days, as the organisation established a solid pillar in Southeast Asia and mobile esports through the acquisition of the Indonesian team Bigetron Esports. Looking at North America, the organisation also acquired a U.S.-based TeamFight Tactics roster in 2024.
