The League of Legends Championship of The Americas (LTA) has announced that its 2025 season will culminate with the LTA Championship in Texas. The event is set to take place from 27–28 September at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center.
The championship will bring together the top three teams from the LTA’s North and South conferences, who will have advanced through playoffs taking place throughout September. The finalists will compete not only for the honour of becoming the inaugural LTA champions but also for coveted qualification spots at the upcoming World Championship (Worlds 2025) in China.
Texas continues to strengthen its status as a hub for esports, having recently hosted several high-profile industry events, including IEM Dallas, the BLAST.tv Austin Major, and the upcoming Global Esports Industry Week (GEIW). The arrival of the LTA Championship adds further momentum to the state’s growing presence in the global esports landscape.
According to the official announcement, the Credit Union of Texas Event Center, located in Allen, north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has a seating capacity of over 6,275 and can host more than 7,000 attendees for a variety of events.
The LTA Championship is backed by several commercial partners. Sponsors include AT&T, Mastercard, Kia, Pagoda, Red Bull, Samsung SSD, Secretlab, and Uber in the North, and Heineken, KitKat, Nescafé Dolce Gusto, Sadia, and Pringles in the South. Kia will also serve as the presenting partner of the LTA MVP Award and naming partner for the event, officially called 2025 LTA Championship Driven by Kia.
Tickets for the event will be available through Ticketmaster, with a 24-hour presale for Mastercard cardholders beginning on Saturday, 14 June. General ticket sales open the following day, Sunday, 15 June, at the same time. Details about fan activities, merchandise, watch parties, and tie-ins with League of Legends Season 3 are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
