VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025 has recorded peak viewing figures of 1.3 million, making it the fifth most-watched VALORANT event of all-time.

The first international event of the 2025 VCT calendar saw South Korean esports organisation T1 defeat European organisation G2 Esports in the Grand Final on March 2nd, 2025.

According to esports data platform Esports Charts, the figure was recorded during the Grand Final between T1 and G2 Esports. The South Korean organisation featured in three of the five most-watched matches of the entire event.

The most-watched VALORANT tournament in history remains the Madrid Masters tournament, which took place in March 2024. The event recorded 1.6 million peak viewers across its 52-hour airtime.

Following Masters Bangkok, the next big event for VALORANT esports is the opening stage of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT). Leagues for EMEA, the Americas, China, and the Pacific region will begin in late March and will determine the 12 teams competing at the Masters Toronto event in June.

With Masters Bangkok continuing the trend of impressive viewing figures for VALORANT esports, the 2025 season is shaping up to be a strong one for Riot Games’ tactical shooter. Outside of the VCT, VALORANT will also appear at the 2025 edition of the Esports World Cup, a multi-title event organised by the Esports World Cup Foundation.

In February 2025, the VALORANT developer and publisher partnered with the event organiser to bring the shooter to the event along with League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics for the next three years.

Masters Bangkok was the first tournament to showcase in-broadcast activations for the Esports World Cup, which takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, later this year. The VALORANT tournament will not be connected to the VCT. In total, 25 games, including chess, will host tournaments across several genres, including first-person shooters, MOBA, and fighting games.
