Online betting platform LEON.Bet has expanded its partnership with esports organisation GamerLegion, becoming the official sportsbook partner of the team’s Dota 2 roster.

The agreement builds on an existing relationship between the two parties that began in October 2025, when LEON.Bet first signed a deal with GamerLegion’s Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster. Financial terms of the new Dota 2 partnership were not disclosed.

A central element of the collaboration is brand visibility. The LEON.Bet logo will be featured on team jerseys, social media graphics, video content and interview backdrops. Branding may also appear on the organisation’s website and in livestream overlays during broadcasts.

The partnership will also include digital campaigns and content. This usually means producing videos, social media posts and online promotions together. For example, the two sides may run match prediction campaigns, share behind-the-scenes videos sponsored by LEON.Bet, or publish player interviews presented by the betting platform.

Global Esports Industry Week (GEIW) will return in 2026 with a bigger and bolder edition, taking place across 18–21 June in Cologne, Germany, alongside IEM Cologne. The schedule and details about ticket sales are available in this link.

GamerLegion’s Dota 2 team is still pretty new on the esports scene. The roster was only launched four months ago, on November 11, 2025. They picked up the North American squad formerly known as Apex Genesis/Wildcard.

So far, they’ve earned around $64,500 in prize money according to Liquipedia, which is a solid start for a fresh team. That said, they haven’t made a real breakthrough at any tier 1 events yet. Their best result so far is a 7th place finish at BLAST Slam VI.

LEON.Bet first teamed up with GamerLegion in October 2025, kicking things off with a deal around their CS2 roster. Throughout the year, the org has added a set of other sponsorship agreements like with chair manufacturer Blackforce. On 22 July, they partnered with Skin.Club as their official CS2 skin partner, and that same month they also brought Memory PC GmbH on board as their official hardware partner.
