100 Thieves is officially back in Counter-Strike, and they’ve just announced that Sean Gares will take over as Head of FPS, while Graham Pitt steps in as Head of CS Operations for the newly formed 100 Thieves Roobet Counter-Strike division.
Sean Gares, a former professional CS player, coach, and analyst, returns “home” to 100 Thieves after previously serving as the organisation’s VALORANT head coach. Gares will oversee all FPS operations, focusing on long-term team-building, culture, and leadership.

Before rejoining 100 Thieves, Gares was the General Manager of Shopify Rebellion’s VALORANT division, where he led their North American roster through the challenges of the evolving tier-two ecosystem.
On the other side, Graham Pitt brings a ton of experience to the table. He’s worked across some of the biggest esports organisations and events in the world, such as ESL, BLAST, Complexity, and Astralis.
Pitt will handle the operational backbone of 100T’s Counter-Strike project, making sure everything from logistics to compliance runs smoothly. He’s based in Europe, which makes sense since that’s where the team will be stationed to stay close to the top-tier competition and practice ecosystem.
As for the roster, there’s nothing official yet. The org is keeping things open, either by picking up an existing team that fits their vision or building from the ground up. The first step will be hiring a head coach and an in-game leader, since those two will set the tone for everything that follows.
Before they even start signing players, Sean and Graham are working on the infrastructure, including things like the practice plan, staff structure, and support systems.
