K-pop group SEVENTEEN members Dokyeom and Seungkwan have announced a partnership with Korean esports organisation T1 to release a new song on Spotify.
The track, titled “One – Spotify Singles,” will serve as T1’s official anthem and is set to release on the music platform at 6 PM on August 10. The song was made through Spotify’s “Spotify Singles” program, which pairs artists with special one-off recordings. The project connects two fandoms that don’t usually overlap such as esports fans and K-pop listeners.
A teaser for the collaboration was released on August 5. The video is shot as a mockumentary and follows a fictional rookie group called “T1 STARS,” whose debut song gets taken by more senior artists played by Dokyeom and Seungkwan. It also features T1’s League of Legends players including esports legend Lee “Faker“ Sang-hyeok as trainees, dressed and styled in an idol-group look.
The partnership agreement terms also confirmed that after the song’s release, Dokyeom and Seungkwan are scheduled to perform at “LCK Team Roadshow: T1 Home Ground,” a League of Legends esports event taking place on August 14 at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Spotify Korea stated in an official press release (translated from Korean), “We determined that Dokyeom and Seungkwan’s wide range of musical expression and refreshing, powerful vocals best convey the message and energy of the T1 cheering song.”
T1 and Spotify have actually been working together since June 2025, back when Spotify signed on as the main partner for the T1 Home Ground 2025 festival at Inspire Arena in Incheon. That’s also when the Spotify logo showed up on T1’s Valorant jerseys. And the collaboration with the K-pop group isn’t the only deal they’ve secured lately. In recent months, they’ve partnered with Riot Games for the Riftbound trading card game, signed a multi-year extension with SteelSeries, and teamed up with ASUS to release co-branded versions of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphic cards.
