The Esports World Cup 2026 wrapped up a few days ago, closing out a seven-week run in Paris, France, that brought together 24 games across mobile, PC, and console platforms. Attention is already turning to next year’s edition, and a picture is starting to form of what the 2027 lineup will look like.
Esports Foundation CEO Ralf Reichert has confirmed that more than a dozen games featured at this year’s event will return next year, while the return of several fan-favourite titles has yet to be officially confirmed.
Here’s a list of the games that are confirmed for the Esports World Cup 2027:
- Call of Duty
- Call of Duty: Warzone
- Chess
- Counter-Strike 2
- CrossFire
- Dota 2
- EA SPORTS FC 27
- Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
- Fortnite
- Honor of Kings
- League of Legends
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Men’s)
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Women’s)
- PUBG
- PUBG Mobile
- Rocket League
- Street Fighter 6
- Teamfight Tactics
- Trackmania
- VALORANT
The upcoming confirmed lineup was built on multi-year agreements with major publishers, including Activision Blizzard, Riot Games, Electronic Arts, Tencent, MOONTON, Capcom, and KRAFTON.
A few games that Reichert did not include in his initial confirmation were later revealed to be returning for 2027 through separate publisher agreements. These include Fortnite and Rocket League, which are covered by the Esports Foundation’s three-year deal with Epic Games, and Trackmania, which is covered by a multi-year agreement with Ubisoft.
Counter-Strike, which drew some of the largest audiences at EWC 2026, is confirmed to return in 2027 as well. The Esports Foundation has already set dates for that tournament: July 16 to August 1, 2027, in Riyadh.
Not every title from this year’s event has a confirmed spot for 2027. A number of EWC 2026 games, including Apex Legends, Tekken 8, Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six and Free Fire, have not yet had their return announced, meaning they could still be added later or might not come back at all.
So far, every game discussed for EWC 2027, whether confirmed or still pending, was already part of EWC 2026. Neither the Esports Foundation nor Reichert has said anything publicly about bringing in a game that has never been part of the Esports World Cup before. That doesn’t rule it out; it just means there’s no announcement to point to yet. If a brand-new title does get added, it would likely come as its own separate announcement.
