South Korean esports organisation T1 has entered into an official partnership with Seoul-based ophthalmology clinic GS Eye Clinic, under which the eye care provider will offer medical services to the organisation’s players.

According to a Korean news outlet and official announcement, GS Eye Clinic will provide eye examinations and ophthalmic care for each individual’s eye condition as part of the agreement. This will be available to all T1 players across every game the organisation competes in, as well as to a group of streamers affiliated with T1.

Appointments will be scheduled around the team’s training and match calendar through a dedicated booking and consultation system, rather than requiring players to fit appointments around a fixed clinic schedule. The partnership also extends beyond the players themselves. GS Eye Clinic plans to expand its medical support to include T1 staff and their families as part of an effort to promote eye health and access to ophthalmic care within the organisation.

In addition to direct medical services, the two organisations say they plan to produce joint promotional and content projects connecting esports with the medical field, though specific details on these plans have not yet been announced.

However, it is still unclear whether GS Eye Center will get any visibility through logo placements on T1’s jersey or social media as part of the agreement. The Esports Radar reached out to T1’s partnership department for clarification but had not received a response at the time of publication.

Dr. Kim Mu-Yeon, the Chief Director of the GS Eye Clinic, said [translated from Korean], “We are honored to establish an official partnership with the world-class esports team T1. Regular eye health care is crucial for esports players, as they must stare at digital screens for long periods and maintain high levels of concentration. Based on the 22 years of extensive clinical experience and expertise accumulated by GS Ophthalmology, we will strive to provide systematic medical services to the T1 team and its members.”

Beyond its focus on player health, T1 has also been building partnerships across the entertainment industry. Just a few days ago, T1 Entertainment & Sports announced a partnership with Universal Products & Experiences to release an official merchandise collection featuring Minions. Earlier, in August 2026, T1 also collaborated with K-pop group SEVENTEEN to release a new track on Spotify, highlighting the organisation’s growing presence across esports, entertainment, and popular culture.
