Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia (MPL Indonesia) has announced a new partnership with AIMS, which becomes the league’s Official Trading Partner for Season 18.

MPL Indonesia is the tier 1 professional tournament in Indonesia for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The league is organised by MOONTON Games, the company that makes MLBB, along with an esports organisation Mineski Global. AIMS, short for Auric International Markets Limited, on the other hand, is an online financial brokerage company founded in 2015. It operates as a broker for foreign exchange (forex) trading, which involves buying and selling different currencies.

As part of the agreement, AIMS plans to interact with MLBB fans through community activities, educational content, digital initiatives, and some in-person events over the course of Season 18. MPL Indonesia Season 18 is already underway. The Regular Season ran from August 14 to October 18, 2026, with the Grand Finals scheduled for November 8. The season has a total prize pool of approximately $270,000.

Neither MPL Indonesia nor AIMS has confirmed the financial value of the deal or specific details such as how AIMS branding will appear throughout the tournament.

Mr. Martinus H. Manurung, Head of Esports Business Development, MOONTON Games Indonesia, said, “Welcoming AIMS reflects the continued growth and diversification of the MPL Indonesia partnership ecosystem. It is encouraging to see brands from new industries recognising the strength of MLBB esports, the passion of our community and the value of being part of this platform. The confidence shown by both new and long-standing partners continues to strengthen the ecosystem around MPL Indonesia. We are pleased to welcome AIMS for Season 18 and look forward to seeing how they engage with our community in a relevant, responsible and enjoyable way.”

Mr. Rudy Hermanto, Marketing Manager, AIMS International, said, “We believe in MLBB and MPL as a healthy competitive esports ecosystem that brings people together. Whether you are improving individually or competing as a team, becoming better requires discipline, patience, learning and strong fundamentals.”

AIMS joins a list of other sponsors already involved with the season, including GOPAY, Telkomsel, Infinix, IndiHome, Dunia Games, Good Time, by.U, Todak Nusantara, Telkomsel GamesMAX, AQUA Elektronik, So Good, Captain Barbershop, and Platinum Cineplex.

AIMS isn’t the only non-gaming brand betting on MLBB this year; several other deals across the game’s esports scene tell a similar story. Around a month ago, payments company Visa and MOONTON Games announced a three-year partnership covering the M Series, MLBB’s main international tournament. In May 2026, tournament organiser NODWIN Gaming partnered with data infrastructure provider Runestone to sponsor the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Championship Tour (MCT) AMER 2026. Around the same time, Qiddiya City and MLBB Professional League Middle East and North Africa (MPL MENA) announced a five-year partnership to support esports and entertainment growth in that region.
