Savvy Games Group has officially signed an agreement with King Saud University to help students learn skills for careers in gaming and interactive entertainment.
According to the press release, the Memorandum of Understanding sets a plan for both sides to work together on training programs, student workshops, and other activities that will connect young people with the fast-growing gaming and esports industry. The partnership will also encourage the exchange of knowledge between Savvy and the university to create useful learning experiences for students.
Majed Al-Muhanna, Chief Human Resources Officer at Savvy Games Group, said the partnership shows the company’s focus on supporting young talent. “This partnership with King Saud University reflects our commitment to building the next generation of talent that will help shape the future of Saudi Arabia’s games and esports sectors,” he said.
He added that working with one of the Kingdom’s top universities will help the company advance the goals of Savvy Academy and support the National Gaming and Esports Strategy, which is part of Vision 2030.

Dr. Abdulmajeed Alameer, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences at KSU, said the agreement will help students prepare for modern careers. “KSU is dedicated to providing our students with advanced learning opportunities that prepare them for emerging industries and future careers. Our collaboration with Savvy Games Group will help equip our students with exposure to one of the world’s fastest-growing sectors and expand their professional horizons,” he said.
The partnership is part of Savvy Academy’s larger effort to work with universities across Saudi Arabia. The primary goal of these collabs is to deliver top-quality training and increase the number of local professionals in gaming, esports, and digital creative fields. Apart from this, Savvy Games has recently signed an MoU with Alinma Bank to explore banking solutions for gamers and esports fans in Saudi Arabia.
