Luka “Perkz” Perković, one of Europe’s most known professional League of Legends players, has announced his next step after retiring from professional esports. The Croatian star is now a co-owner of Friendly Fire, a gaming café franchise that started in his home country.
Perković will act as a brand ambassador and strategic advisor. This means he will help guide Friendly Fire’s expansion and work with the company’s leadership to plan future growth around the world.
Friendly Fire currently has 18 cafés across four European countries and Mexico. The company says it is growing quickly, with more than 200 new locations already in development. These future cafés are planned for the UK, Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, and Ukraine. Friendly Fire also plans to launch its franchise model in the United States for the first time.

Luka “Perkz” Perković said in an official statement, “Friendly Fire has built something truly special—a mix of creativity, authenticity, and ambition that really resonates with people. I’m looking forward to helping shape what comes next and pushing the brand toward an even brighter, bolder future.”
David Kosir, Founder and CEO of Friendly Fire, said, “We’re especially pleased to welcome Luka, whose accomplishments and vision align seamlessly with our mission to create spaces where gamers can connect, compete, and grow. His leadership and standing within the global gaming community will be invaluable as we further expand and strengthen our international impact.”
Friendly Fire has also made other notable business moves in recent months. About half a year ago, the company brought in Andrii Romanenko, formerly the CEO of Domino’s Pizza Ukraine, to help steer its leadership direction.
