Esport Canada has announced a new partnership with apparel and merchandise provider Ultimate Sports Inc., naming the company as the official jersey and banner provider for the organisation’s 2026-27 operational year, under Ultimate Sports Inc.’s Hero Sportswear program.

Under the agreement, Ultimate Sports Inc. will supply apparel, custom graphics, and merchandise for Esport Canada’s national teams that compete in FIFAe, the Global Esports Federation, and the International Esports Federation.

The partnership was already in place for Canada’s national team at the FIFAe Continental Cup this past August, where players wore jerseys designed by artist Drew “Drewface” Nguyen and produced by Ultimate Sports Inc.

The agreement also extends beyond the national teams. Esport Canada’s registered provincial and territorial esports organisations, along with member institutions and schools, will have access to team ordering, custom banners, and online store services provided by Ultimate Sports Inc.

Melissa Burns, Chief Executive Officer of Esport Canada, said, “Partnering with a Canadian brand like Ultimate Sports Inc. aligns perfectly with our vision of national unity and esports excellence. As esports continues to integrate into the broader Canadian sport landscape, equipping our players with top-tier, domestically produced apparel gives our programs a distinct identity both at home and on the world stage.”

Glenn Barrett of Ultimate Sports Inc said, “I’m excited about the partnership with Esports Canada to help teams elevate their brand with quality gear and e-store solutions that keep fans coming back. I look forward to building long-term partnerships rooted in trust, responsiveness and measurable results.”

Ultimate Sports Inc. has previously worked with soccer clubs, professional leagues, and regional sports associations and manufactures its products domestically in Canada. And this isn’t the only major operational move Esport Canada has announced lately.

Just a few days ago, the organisation announced the election of five new members to its Board of Directors for three-year terms, following its Annual General Meeting on August 12, 2026. According to Esport Canada, the appointments bring the non-profit into alignment with Canadian Sport Governance Code benchmarks related to gender diversity and non-endemic representation across sporting bodies.
