AI-powered technology solutions provider NWN has announced a multi-million dollar partnership with Fisher College. The collaboration will focus on redesigning the college’s campus infrastructure to enhance its nationally ranked esports program and co-developing an AI workshop.
The deal is valued at over $2.5 million, which will provide a full campus infrastructure upgrade across 15 buildings. The upgraded infrastructure will eventually allow Fisher to expand its esports program by offering over 80 high-end gaming stations, a broadcast studio, and hands-on training in production, team management, and digital storytelling.

“This partnership with NWN is a game-changer, merging academics with esports to propel our students, who naturally gravitate toward AI and STEM careers, into tech innovation,” stated Bryan Hummel, Fisher’s Esports Director, in a press release.
On top of the massive infrastructure upgrade, the partnership agreement also confirms that NWN and Fisher College will work together to create a new program that helps students and staff learn the basics and real-world uses of artificial intelligence. The program will cover topics like generative AI, prompt writing, using AI responsibly, and digital creativity.
To kick things off, Fisher will host an AI Learning Summit in Winter 2026, where students, teachers, and industry experts will come together to discuss how AI is impacting the academic field.
Similar efforts to bridge education and esports can also be seen in recent collaborations like Gen.G teaming up with thirteen U.S. universities for an esports study program in Seoul, pointing out how colleges are increasingly collaborating with global brands to include competitive gaming in their academic curriculum.
