French esports organisation Gentle Mates has announced a new partnership with cryptocurrency platform Bitstack.
The partnership was revealed on Friday, coinciding with the ongoing Call of Duty Major in Paris. Gentle Mates shared the news on social media, unveiling Bitstack as a partner for the remainder of the season.
As part of the collaboration, Bitstack and Gentle Mates have launched a joint giveaway through which fans can win a total of €10,000 in Bitcoin plus signed Gentle Mates jerseys. Five winners will each receive €2,000 in BTC and a signed jersey.
Financial terms of the partnership and other specific activations have not been revealed. It has also not been confirmed yet whether Bitstack logos will be prominently displayed on the streams or social media promotional posts. The partnership can be seen as a targeted sponsorship leveraging the Major event for visibility and user acquisition for Bitstack.
To participate, users need to download the Bitstack app, create an account, activate a Bitcoin savings plan, and register for the contest through the app. Entries are open during the Major (June 26-28, 2026), with winners to be announced on July 10. Winners will be contacted directly by the Bitstack team by email or via an in-app notification. They will then have 7 days to provide the necessary information.
Bitkart also confirmed that €2,000 in Bitcoin will be directly deposited into the winner’s Bitstack account whereas the signed jersey will be shipped to the address the participant has provided. This sponsorship supports Gentle Mates across its teams, with a focus on the current Call of Duty season and upcoming competitions.
Apart from its Bitkart partnership, Gentle Mates has showed commercial momentum by landing two major brand deals this month. First, the organisation announced Logitech G as its new official peripheral partner. It also renewed its commercial partnership with TV and monitor manufacturer TCL for a fourth straight year.
