Sim racing hardware maker MOZA Racing has announced a new partnership with the Gran Turismo World Series (GTWS), the international competitive esports circuit built around Sony‘s Gran Turismo racing game franchise.

The partnership begins with Round 2 of the 2026 season, which starts on August 15. From that round onward, MOZA will be an Official Partner of the series, and its branding will appear throughout the event’s official broadcasts.

MOZA Racing makes equipment for sim racing. The company’s product line includes direct drive wheel bases (the motorised core unit that creates steering resistance), steering wheels, pedal sets, dashboard displays, gear shifters, and motion platforms that tilt or move to mimic the feel of driving. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether the MOZA hardware lineup will be used in this league as part of the deal.

Through the GTWS partnership, MOZA said the company will have a presence at one of the largest organised esports competitions built around a racing game. Gran Turismo’s World Series draws competitors and viewers from around the world, and the deal gives MOZA visibility with that audience during official broadcasts.

Cy Guan, CEO of MOZA Racing, said in a press release that “partnering with the Gran Turismo World Series is an exciting milestone for us. Gran Turismo has inspired generations of racing enthusiasts, and we are honored to contribute to a championship that represents the very best of virtual motorsport. Together, we look forward to creating new possibilities for racers around the world.”

Kazunori Yamauchi, Producer of Gran Turismo, stated that “the advancement of racing hardware plays an important role in bringing that experience closer to reality. We are pleased to welcome MOZA Racing as an official partner of the Gran Turismo World Series and look forward to exploring new possibilities together for the future of sim racing.”

The company also indicated this is a step toward a longer-term goal: developing hardware that is officially licensed for use with PlayStation, the platform Gran Turismo is published on. MOZA said this licensed hardware is still in development and that further details will be shared in the coming months.

No other partnership terms, such as broadcast integrations or in-game features, were disclosed as part of this announcement.
