Tournament organiser BLAST has announced a multi-year partnership with gaming hardware company Razer, naming it the Official Headset Partner of BLAST Premier.
The partnership will debut at BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong, running November 11 to 15, 2026, before continuing across future BLAST Premier events.
As part of the deal, Razer will appear across BLAST Premier’s broadcasts, digital content, and fan activities at live events, and Razer headsets will be used in the competitive setups at these tournaments.
Razer has worked with professional players on gaming hardware for more than two decades. Razer has said that the partnership centres on the BlackShark V3 Pro, the newest headset in Razer’s BlackShark lineup, which the company says was developed with input from professional esports players, including Counter-Strike Major champion NiKo. According to Razer, the headset’s development focused on sound clarity, communication, noise isolation, and comfort during long matches.
Steve Rossi, Senior Vice President of Brand Partnerships at BLAST, said, “Razer has a long-standing reputation for building products with competitive players at the center. Bringing Razer headsets to BLAST Premier strengthens the stage environment for our teams and connects one of esports’ most established brands with Counter-Strike fans around the world.”
Jeffrey Chau, Global Esports Director at Razer, said, “Esports is where we prove our technology, learn from the world’s best, and set the standard for competitive performance. BLAST Premier gives us a global Counter-Strike stage to do that consistently. When a round can turn on a single audio cue, players need absolute clarity and total confidence in their gear, and that is what we are bringing to every event.”
The Razer deal is one of several partnerships BLAST has put in place recently. A few months ago, the company announced that IC would become the Official Online Trading Partner of BLAST Premier, its Counter-Strike 2 tournament series, as well as BLAST Slam, its Dota 2 tournament series. More recently, just a few days ago, BLAST signed a new partnership with the Mongolian Esports Association (MESA) to help deliver BLAST Premier Open Ulaanbaatar, a Counter-Strike 2 tournament announced earlier this year that is set to take place in Mongolia in May 2027.
