Red Bull India has officially announced the launch of Red Bull Solo Legends, being promoted as India’s biggest solo-format BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) esports tournament. The event’s regional qualifiers are set to run from November 5-16, with Grand Finals happening later in the year.

As the name suggests, Red Bull Solo Legends is a major tournament made entirely for solo players. While BGMI traditionally focuses on team play and coordination, Solo Legends puts the spotlight entirely on individual skill, which means the participants won’t have any squadmates to rely on.

The goal of the tournament is to crown the top solo BGMI player in India and reward them with a Red Bull Racing experience as the grand prize. As per the official announcement, professional players including Jonathan Amaral (Jonathan Gaming), Tanishk Singh (Admino), Ashutosh Singh (Punk), Sahil Jakhar (Omega), and others will compete alongside rising solo talent.

It’s not the first time Red Bull has supported the Indian esports scene. The company has previously fueled the industry through events like the Red Bull Mobile Esports Open (M.E.O.) and collaborations with teams such as GodLike Esports, but Solo Legends represents a first-of-its-kind solo-focused competition at this scale. Events like these boosts brand visibility in a market where sponsorships account for approximately 44% of esports revenue.

As mentioned earlier, the champion will earn the title of India’s top solo BGMI player and an all-expenses-paid trip for a Red Bull Racing experience abroad. Registrations are open to all players in India until October 31, 2025, via redbull.in/sololegends.

Red Bull Solo Legends arrives at a time when Indian BGMI esports is expanding rapidly, with recent initiatives such as KRAFTON India creating fresh global pathways for players, pointing out the growing opportunities for both professional and aspiring solo talent in the country. This surge is also backed by robust business metrics: India’s esports market reached USD 208.7 million in 2024 and is projected to grow at an 18.8% CAGR through 2034.
