Supercell has officially appointed Rachel Rakowski as Head of Esports for Clash of Clans. Based in Greater London in a hybrid role, Rakowski began her tenure in November 2025 and is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the title’s global esports ecosystem.

While Rachel has not publicly detailed her full responsibilities, the role may include tasks such as outlining the overall esports roadmap, designing tournament formats, working with professional teams and event partners, and coordinating live competitions across different regions. She could also help develop broadcast plans, manage budgets, and work with marketing teams to promote events to players around the world.

Rachel Rakowski said in an official LinkedIn post, “I’ve joined Supercell leading the esports program for Clash of Clans. I’ve been playing CoC for over a decade, and it’s an incredible feeling to now contribute to a game I’ve loved for so long — one cherished by millions of players around the world. My mission is to build an esports program that’s worthy of this passionate community and to continue the outstanding work done by the Clash team and those who came before me.”

As per Rakowski’s LinkedIn profile, she has spent more than ten years working in gaming and esports. Before joining Supercell, she was the Global Head of Gaming at We Are Social. There, she managed gaming operations across 21 markets and led a team of more than 50 people.

She also spent several years at Logitech G in senior roles. As Senior Global Brand and Product Marketing Manager for Simulation, she oversaw worldwide marketing for racing, flight, and simulation products.

Earlier in her career, she held roles at Red Bull, Right Formula, Ginx TV, and ESL, where she gained hands-on experience running live esports tournaments, managing broadcasts, creating content, and organising events.
