Russian professional esports organisation Virtus.pro has announced a new charity partnership with Gamers Outreach, a nonprofit organisation that provides video games and equipment to children’s hospitals.
The primary goal of this fundraising campaign is to help Gamers Outreach deliver gaming equipment and experiences to kids facing long hospital stays. As per the donation page, the goal of the campaign is to raise $20,000 USD. All donations will go directly toward supporting hospitalised children.
The initiative will also bring together Virtus.pro’s players, streamers, staff, and global community, who will take part in fundraising activities, share the campaign with their fans, and encourage people around the world to donate and support children in hospitals.

Virtus.pro said in a public statement, “This winter, Virtus.рro is partnering with Gamers Outreach to support children in hospitals and bring moments of joy where they matter most. Together with our players, streamers, staff, and global community, we’re launching a fundraising campaign to help Gamers Outreach deliver gaming equipment and experiences to kids facing long hospital stays.”
According to Gamers Outreach, millions of children and their families receive medical care in hospitals each year. For many young patients, the experience can feel scary and isolating. During treatment, children often lose access to friends, school, and everyday activities that are a normal part of childhood.
Gamers Outreach believes that play is important, even in difficult situations. Therefore, the organisation works to provide hospitals with gaming equipment so children can play video games from their rooms.
Virtus.pro’s campaign is part of a wider trend in the esports industry, where companies are supporting social causes. Recently, Riot Games partnered with Movember as the Official Mental Health Partner for its premier EMEA esports ecosystems. That initiative focuses on supporting the mental health and wellbeing of competitors and staff.
