The Saudi Esports Federation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabian premium food delivery platform/app The Chefz to strengthen cooperation in sponsorship and marketing across a range of the federation’s events and initiatives.
The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. The two organisations also have not publicly shared the duration of the partnership, an end date for the MoU, or specific responsibilities that each party will undertake under the agreement.
The partnership builds on the collaboration between the two organisations during the sixth edition of the Saudi Esports Federation Awards 2025. The Chefz was an official sponsor of the SEF Awards 2025 (the 6th edition, held in January 2026 at SEF Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City).
It presented/sponsored specific categories, including Best Female Player (won by Modhi Al-Kanhal) and Best Rising Streamer (won by Waleed Al-Shamali). The Chefz appeared alongside other sponsors such as Golden Scent, NES, Nova, Richy, and event presenter J Event.
Ibrahim AlSheddi, Chief Shared Services Officer of the Saudi Esports Federation, said, “We are proud to continue our collaboration with The Chefz and build upon the success achieved through our previous partnership during the SEF Awards 2025. This MoU represents an important step towards exploring new opportunities that enrich the experience of the esports community and reinforce our ongoing efforts to develop the sector and support its growth across the Kingdom.”
Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, Chief Commercial Officer of The Chefz, said, “We are pleased to sign this MoU with the Saudi Esports Federation, reflecting our belief in the importance of building strategic partnerships that contribute to supporting the growth of the esports sector in the Kingdom. We look forward to leveraging our expertise across sponsorship and marketing to deliver distinctive experiences across upcoming events and initiatives that meet community expectations and further strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading global hub for the sector.”
This isn’t the first partnership the Saudi Esports Federation has announced this year. Earlier, it signed on Yalla Group Limited as the official event partner for the Saudi eLeagues 2026 and also extended its collaboration with Richy Group for the sixth edition of the SEF Awards as it continues to build momentum across the Kingdom’s esports scene.
