Savvy Games Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alinma Bank to explore banking solutions tailored for gamers and esports fans in Saudi Arabia.

The deal will see Savvy leverage its ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) arm to support Alinma Bank in building stronger connections with the local gaming audience.

“We are pleased to be working with Alinma Bank to expand the ways millions of gamers and esports fans in Saudi Arabia can access tailored products and services that truly meet their needs,” said Amr Sager, Chief of Staff at Savvy Games Group.

Alinma Bank’s Chief Digital Officer, Musad Khalid AlGadi, added: “Games and esports are developing rapidly in Saudi Arabia, and we are delighted to be working with Savvy to explore initiatives around games and esports communities here.”

According to a press release, the partnership is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National Gaming and Esports Strategy, which aim to support the sector’s long-term growth.
