The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia has announced a brand collaboration with the upcoming Hollywood film Predator: Badlands, marking the league’s second partnership with a major Disney franchise this season.
The collaboration will see the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang “Land of Dawn” and the Predator universe intersect across several league-operated channels. These include the official live broadcasts, the league’s owned platform channels, and an exclusive fan screening of the film.

“Predator: Badlands is the league’s second crossover with a major Disney franchise this season (the first being TRON: Ares),” stated Krystal Tan, Head of Business Development for Malaysia Esports at MOONTON Games in a press release. This is testament to how MPL Malaysia and esports have evolved into cultural mainstays that resonate deeply with today’s youth.”
Tan also linked the collaboration to the league’s future direction, adding, “As we prepare for an ‘enhanced franchised format‘ next season, this partnership represents the bold, creative direction we’re taking to elevate both the fan experience and the ecosystem as a whole.” She concluded, “We’re already beyond competition in esports; now, we’re aiming to be Malaysia’s number one sports entertainment product for young people.”
Predator: Badlands is set to be out in November. No further details regarding the specific nature of the in-broadcast or platform content for the MPL Malaysia collaboration have been disclosed at this time.
