Pantamera, the Swedish deposit-return system operator, will return as an Official Partner to DreamHack Stockholm in 2025, extending a partnership that dates back to 2018. The company entered the gaming sector in 2011 by funding international Counter-Strike tournaments with proceeds from recycled packaging refunds.

At DreamHack Stockholm 2025, Pantamera plans recycling-themed challenges, daily meet-and-greets with brand ambassadors, and a donation of all on-site deposit refunds to Musikhjälpen, Sweden’s week-long national radio and TV fundraiser for social causes.

Pantamera opted for gaming events over conventional advertising by selecting DreamHack as its primary platform as the primary objective was to target low recycling rates among males aged 13–20. The collaboration has since expanded to include on-site activations, the ambassador program, and an annual charity livestream benefiting Musikhjälpen.

Since 2016, these initiatives have raised more than 2 million SEK (approximately $212,237 USD) in donations. A highlight was the 2019 Musikgibbet Counter-Strike tournament, which generated 534,989 SEK ($56,765) through competition between gamers and artists.

Pantamera reports a 7% increase in recycling rates among its target demographic since 2011. Surveys also indicated that self-reported recycling among males aged 16–29 rose from 74% in 2013 to 80% in 2023.
