After a few years away from the action, 100 Thieves is officially jumping back into Counter-Strike and they’re not doing it alone. The gaming and lifestyle brand just announced its return to competitive play with a brand-new Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster, made possible through a huge new partnership with crypto casino platform Roobet.

Under this deal, the team will compete under the name 100 Thieves Roobet. Not only does it bring them back to one of esports’ most legendary games, but it also represents one of the biggest deals in the org’s history. The partnership is helping 100 Thieves expand globally, with plans to open a training and content facility in Serbia. That space will be home base for the team, giving players and creators a place to practice, stream, and collaborate right in the heart of Europe’s Counter-Strike scene.

“Counter-Strike has always been a cornerstone of esports, and CS2 has sparked new energy worldwide,” said Jacob Toft-Andersen, President of 100 Thieves, in the official press release. “Europe is at the center of that community, and by establishing a permanent home there, we’re committing to doing this the right way and with Roobet as a partner, we’re building something our fans can be proud of.”

“Counter-Strike has always been close to our hearts at Roobet,” said Allen Temiz, Director of Partnerships at Roobet. “Our founding team met playing CS online, so this partnership with 100 Thieves feels like coming home. Joining forces to launch 100 Thieves Roobet is not just a business move, it’s a passion project rooted in the very DNA of our company. We’re proud to help bring one of the most iconic esports brands back to the Counter-Strike stage and to build something global, competitive, and unforgettable.”

Finally, both organisations have confirmed that the partnership will focus on competitive content and fan engagement, which means no active gambling streams or direct betting content will be part of the promotional activities on 100 Thieves-owned & operated social media channels.

The official roster and tournament plans haven’t been revealed yet, but the organization says more news is coming soon. Alongside its Counter-Strike comeback, 100 Thieves has also teamed up with Pokémon for a limited-edition clothing line, racking up some exclusive partnerships for their portfolio.
