StarLadder has announced that xplay.gg, the European network of training servers for Counter-Strike players, will be an official partner of the Budapest Major 2025.
xplay.gg is used by Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) players for its many training modes and personal matches, which let players set up their own practice sessions by choosing the map, mode, number of rounds, and even the in-game economy.
Therefore, the key message on this partnership is about improving training quality and providing reliable practice tools for professional teams preparing for the tournament. The company claims this gives players ways to train in game conditions that feel close to real competitive matches.

Roland Fitsners, CEO at xplay.gg said, “As a platform dedicated to fostering skill development and competitive growth, we share a common vision with StarLadder to elevate the CS2 esports scene. We believe that this collaboration will bring even more opportunities for players to train, improve, and showcase their talents.”
Viacheslav Shcherbakov, Head of Sales and Partnerships at StarLadder, also mentioned in an official statement, “xplay.gg is a technological platform that enables emerging players to improve their game and allows professionals to maintain AAA-level performance. Its advantages include server quality, flexible configuration options, and an ecosystem that offers attainable rewards to keep the training process engaging.”
The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 will take place from November 24 to December 14 in Budapest, Hungary. The event will feature 32 top teams from around the world competing for a 1.25 million dollar prize pool and one of the most prestigious titles in Counter-Strike.
StarLadder is gradually announcing commercial partners for the Budapest Major. Blacklyte is coming on board as the Official Furniture Partner and will be supplying all the gaming setups the players use on stage. CORSAIR is joining as well as a key hardware partner to make sure the tournament is powered by reliable, high-quality gear. Rollbit will be the betting partner.
