Former pro player and popular streamer Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is teaming up with Riot Games and Red Bull to host the first-ever 2025 VALORANT Community Awards Show.
As the name suggests, it’s a live event made to celebrate the best players and moments from both the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) and the Game Changers leagues. Riot Games, the developer of VALORANT, is an official sponsor. The company publicly supported the event, with VALORANT Esports Global Head Leo Faria saying he was excited to team up with TenZ.
Red Bull Gaming is the other main sponsor. TenZ signed with Red Bull as an athlete in June 2025, and the brand has been expanding its involvement in VALORANT through events like Red Bull Home Ground and VCT EMEA. Red Bull responded to TenZ’s announcement on social media saying they were excited for the show.
While the financial terms of these partnerships were not disclosed, both Riot Games and Red Bull will likely provide financial support for the show. This support might include funding to help cover production costs, licensing fees, staffing, and other resources needed to run a live event of this scale.

TenZ’s management team at Prodigy Agency also helped develop the idea. CEO Jérôme Coupez said they had been planning the project for a long time and wanted to create something that celebrates both VCT and Game Changers players equally.
TenZ has officially confirmed that teams from VCT and Game Changers will vote for the nominees. According to the rules, each player and coach will get a chance to pick their top five choices in each category.
Eventually, a point system will be used to decide the results, and the three highest-scoring people in each category will become finalists. TenZ said he will reveal the categories and finalists soon. The 2025 VALORANT Community Awards Show will take place live in Los Angeles on December 15, 2025, at 9:00 PM PT and fans can catch the live broadcast on TenZ’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
