Virtus.pro has officially announced an international expansion along with its return to mobile battle royale Free Fire, with a brand new Brazilian roster and the confirmation that the organisation has joined Garena’s Free Fire Partner Programme.

The announcement was shared on Virtus.pro’s official social media, where the team confirmed that their new squad will represent the organisation at C.O.P.A. Free Fire 2026, the second biggest competition held by Garena in Brazil, starting January 31.

Simultaneously, Virtus.pro confirmed its inclusion in Garena’s official Free Fire Partner Programme. This program supports content creators across the Singapore, North America, Europe, CIS, and Pakistan servers, offering partners several advantages including a dedicated manager, drone access, in-game rewards, and exclusive early access to both events and new game content.

This move comes a few months after Virtus.pro had actually left the game. The organisation officially parted ways with their former Free Fire roster and closed the division on September 6, 2025. After that, Free Fire was put on hold following the end of their 2025 season, where Virtus.pro competed at the Esports World Cup 2025 and the Free Fire World Series (FFWS).

Virtus.pro also pointed out that Brazil remains one of the strongest regions in Free Fire. In 2025, Brazilian teams finished second in national representation at both the Esports World Cup and the Free Fire World Series where they won a total of $411,000 out of approx. $2 million prize pool.

In 2026, Garena has announced a significant expansion of its Free Fire competitive ecosystem for the season, introducing a larger global format and a new tournament series.
