The Mobile, Esports and Gaming Alliance (MEGA), the company behind the Esports Awards, has appointed Morgan Tremaine as its new Executive Producer. Tremaine is not new to the role. He has already been producing the Esports Awards since 2023. With this promotion, he now becomes part of MEGA’s senior leadership team as the company looks to grow further.
In his new role, Tremaine will work closely with game publishers, streaming platforms, and business partners. For example, if a gaming company wants to sponsor or be part of an event, Tremaine will help outline how that partnership looks on stage and on screen. He will also support MEGA’s agency work by leading production on important client projects.
Morgan Tremaine said in an official statement, “I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of Executive Producer at MEGA after having previously produced and directed the Esports Awards. The creativity, talent, and ambition across the team is incredible, and I look forward to collaborating with publishers, platforms and partners to grow the scale, quality, and industry impact of our ceremonies.”
Michael Ashford, Co-Founder of MEGA, stated, “Morgan has been a pivotal part of producing our flagship Esports Awards show, and promoting him to Executive Producer marks a defining moment for MEGA, as we aim to take our event IPs to new heights.”
Tremaine brings over 13 years of experience in production. He has worked on both esports and large global events. For example, he has helped produce Twitch Rivals, a popular online competition series, and the Fortnite x Polo Ralph Lauren launch event. Outside gaming, he also worked on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games broadcast on Twitch and the LaLiga USA Challenge football event.
Before joining MEGA full-time, Tremaine worked as a Department Head at TMZ and as a Creative Producer at Esports Engine. He is also the Founder and CEO of Cuer, a software tool used in live broadcasts and events to manage show rundowns. Over the years, he has worked with major global brands like Ford, Samsung, and Doritos, as well as top-tier creators such as Pokimane, Quackity, and the Botez Sisters.
