Intel Corporation and EPIC.LAN have confirmed the renewal of their headline partnership for the remainder of 2026. The agreement will see the technology manufacturer support the United Kingdom’s grassroots gaming and esports scene through activations at live events hosted at Kettering Leisure Village, starting with EPIC48 in July.
The partnership aims to provide a consistent platform for community-level esports and technical engagement during a period of recovery for the domestic live events market, leveraging Intel’s hardware to power both competition and attendee demonstrations.

The renewed deal follows a series of digital and physical collaborations in 2025. For the 2026 cycle, Intel will headline EPIC.LAN’s remaining flagship events, providing hands-on technology demonstrations and supporting the Intel Community Championship, a tournament that allows participants of varying skill levels to compete in multiple titles to earn points toward an overall ranking.
Beyond consumer engagement, EPIC.LAN also operates as a technical agency for other production partners, positioning the partnership as a testbed for semiconductor and hardware implementation in high-density LAN environments.
“It’s brilliant to see the team returning to be a part of our events for the rest of 2026 and continuing to demonstrate top of the range technology alongside our other partners as well as forging strong links with our community,” said Jon Winkle, Managing Director at EPIC.LAN at the partnership’s official announcement.
2026 saw the return of major festivals to the UK such as DreamHack Birmingham and specialist events like Red Bull Wololo: Londinium. While these large-scale productions focus on professional-tier competition, organisers like EPIC.LAN have carved out a niche as a critical entry-point for the domestic scene, and after years of volatility for independent organisers in the UK, the renewed deal with Intel deal signals stability for the event.
