ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced ROG Masters North America 2026, a new grassroots esports tournament for players in Canada and the United States. The competition will feature VALORANT and Street Fighter 6, with a total prize pool of US$10,000.

The tournament is part of ROG’s 20th anniversary celebrations and is open to eligible players across North America. Online qualifiers will take place on May 30 and 31, 2026, while the offline finals will be held live at Game Con Canada in Edmonton, Alberta on June 21, 2026.

The VALORANT tournament will send the top four teams from the online qualifiers to the live finals in Edmonton. In Street Fighter 6, the top eight players will qualify for the offline finals.

The US$10,000 prize pool will be split equally between both games: Each title will have a US$5,000 prize pool and winners of the online qualifiers will also receive complimentary three-day passes to Game Con Canada.

It’s important to note that qualified players and teams advancing to the offline finals at Game Con Canada in Edmonton are responsible for arranging and covering their own transportation, accommodations, and related travel expenses to and within Edmonton for the competition.

Registration for the tournament will remain open until May 30, 2026. ASUS ROG also mentioned that the finals will be livestreamed online, with more broadcast details to be shared later through official ROG channels.

Shawn Chang, General Manager, System Business Group, ASUS North America, said, “ROG has always been built around those who dare to push the limits of gaming, compete harder, and create unforgettable moments. With ROG Masters North America 2026, we’re excited to give players across Canada and North America a platform to test their skills online, connect with the community, and compete live on stage at Game Con Canada.”

ASUS ROG has been actively supporting grassroots esports for quite some time now through multiple initiatives. In early 2026, NACE revealed that ASUS Republic of Gamers would present the Spring 2026 NACE Grand Finals. On top of that, ROG partnered with PlayVS last year to provide gaming hardware for the 2025–26 PlayVS College League across North America.
