Esports performance and talent agency Achieveminds has announced a new partnership with Germany-based insurance and financial services provider Allianz Agency Döpke to create insurance solutions specifically designed for the esports industry.
The partnership brings together Achieveminds’ work in esports and player management with Allianz Agency Döpke’s insurance knowledge. Together, these two firms want to help esports players, teams, streamers, and people working online with the support they need.
For example, a gamer who travels for tournaments may need travel or health insurance, while a content creator may want protection for their equipment or income. The partnership aims to make insurance and support easier for people working in esports and digital jobs.
According to the companies, the partnership is built around one main idea: well-being and performance go hand in hand. The collaboration will be promoted through digital campaigns, branded content, and jersey integrations, including Allianz Agency Döpke logo placement on AM Gaming team jerseys.
As part of the deal, Allianz Agency Döpke will also become a premium partner of Achieveminds Agency and will be integrated across its wider ecosystem. The partnership also includes the development of a project named Shield GG, focused on esports-specific protection and innovation.
Fabian Broich, Founder of Achieveminds, said, “Esports has reached a level where performance systems must evolve beyond competition alone. This partnership allows us to build structures that truly support players long-term.”
Thilo Coberg, Operations Lead at Shield GG, said, “I have a strong affinity to esports, having played League of Legends and Counter-Strike myself. Combined with my decade of experience in insurance, this is a natural fit.”
As esports grows beyond just tournaments and streaming, partnerships like this show how the industry is slowly building the kind of support systems traditionally seen in mainstream sports.
