DreamHack Dallas 2025 has officially become the most attended festival in DreamHack’s history, drawing over 60,000 fans to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center from May 23–25. The event, hosted by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), marked a major milestone for the company as it delivered its largest-ever esports programming slate and welcomed more than 900 special guests and creators.

“DreamHack Dallas was one of our most ambitious festivals to date, spanning over 1 million square feet packed with nonstop action,” said Guy Blomberg, Event Director, DreamHack Festivals, Americas. “From our largest creator lineup to fans flying in from across the country, Dallas showed up in full force. We set out to create a space where gaming communities could connect, and the energy on the show floor proved we delivered.”

The three-day festival blended esports competition with pop culture celebration, generating over 22 million hours watched online and awarding more than $2 million in prize pools across major titles including Counter-Strike 2, Call of Duty, Halo, Valorant, and StarCraft 2. Among the esports highlights, Team Vitality’s dominant 3-0 sweep over MOUZ in the IEM Dallas Grand Final earned them a record-setting 30th consecutive CS LAN series win, while LA Thieves went back-to-back to win the Call of Duty League Major 4, the final regular season Major this year before the COD Championships and Esports World Cup.

Meanwhile, DreamHack Dallas hosted the first-ever official GeoGuessr Major on U.S. soil and crowned Allyson “commandstation” Annelle as the first woman to win a Halo HCS Free-For-All LAN tournament.

The event also broke new ground beyond the battlefield. Over 125 local developers and artists participated in the Indie Playground and Artist Alley, while DreamHack’s main stage featured community-driven shows like “Dungeons and Drag Queens” and the Overwatch 2 Stadium Showdown.

Next up for DreamHack is a stop in Atlanta from October 31–November 2, before reaching Stockholm from November 28-30.
