Publisher Electronic Arts (EA), through its division EA Sports, has revealed the official roadmap for the FC Pro 27 competitive season, launching on September 21, 2026.

The fourth consecutive year of the circuit features a cumulative prize pool of over $2,500,000 across all EA-operated stages, culminating in the $1,000,000 FC Pro World Championship.

The ecosystem expands its international footprint by adding four new eligible countries to the Middle East competitive region: Bahrain, Jordan, Libya, and Oman. The season retains its core squad-building feature, the FC Pro Draft mechanic, requiring players to assemble rosters within specific rating constraints during major offline events.

“We are excited to bring FC Pro back for a fourth year of competition, building on the huge success and momentum of previous year’s competition,” said Monica Dinsmore, Head of Esports at EA. “Last year’s FC Pro World Championship winner perfectly embodied our commitment to open ecosystems, and we can’t wait to give as many players as possible the chance to prove they have what it takes to make it all the way to the next World Championship.”

The journey to the World Championship is structured across several sequential phases, allowing players to qualify through direct in-game play, regional circuits, or partner leagues:

  • FC Pro Open Ladder (Sept 21 – Oct 3, 2026): Open to all players within EA FC 27 Ultimate Team reaching Division 5 or above. A total of 1,376 PlayStation 5 competitors across ten global regions will advance based on peak skill rating.

  • Regional Qualifiers (Oct 10 – 11, 2026): Online Swiss and double-elimination brackets hosted on Battlefy, sending 52 top players to the global stage.

  • Global Qualifier in London (Nov 5 – 7, 2026): A 64-player offline LAN event combining 52 regional qualifiers and 12 returning invited pros. The top 16 players advance to the main mid-season showcase.

  • FC Pro Open Live Event (Nov 30, 2026 – Jan 25, 2027): Features 24 players (16 qualified, 8 invited top performers) competing in a double round-robin group stage and single-elimination finals. The top eight finishers secure direct seats to the FC Pro World Championship.

  • Open Cups, Leagues, and Play-Ins: Players can earn Circuit Points via monthly FC Pro Open Cups (Nov–Jan) or compete in official FC Pro partner leagues to earn 28 Play-In slots. A 512-competitor Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) will offer final qualification opportunities.

The $2.5 million baseline prize pool (excluding independent partner leagues and third-party licensed events) is distributed across the season as follows:

Event Stage Total Prize Pool (USD)
FC Pro Open Global Qualifier $152,000
FC Pro Open Live Event $533,000
FC Pro Open Cups $315,000
FC Pro World Championship LCQ $248,000
FC Pro World Championship Play-Ins $252,000
FC Pro World Championship $1,000,000
Total $2,500,000

The 36-player FC Pro World Championship finale will feature a League Stage opening round before advancing into a 24-player single-elimination knockout bracket to crown the FC Pro 27 Champion.
