The Esports Foundation (EF) has unveiled a Paris-themed clothing collection for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, including a new version of the event’s Player’s Jacket made in partnership with AKOG Hotel.

According to the official announcement, the new EWC Player’s Jacket is the main highlight of the collection, created together in partnership with AKOG Hotel. The jacket is given only to players who qualify to compete at EWC, making it something like an achievement marker for reaching the tournament.

AKOG Hotel is not an actual hotel. It’s a creative offshoot of A KIND OF GUISE, a German clothing brand. Despite the name, AKOG Hotel functions as a separate branch focused on lifestyle and collaborative design projects rather than lodging.

While the jacket was originally made exclusively for competing players, that changed in 2025 when the Esports Foundation released a public version after growing fan interest, which increased further after Cristiano Ronaldo was photographed wearing one. For 2026, the organisation is releasing a second public version of the jacket, this time in a limited colorway that’s different from the player-only edition.

Esports Foundation also mentioned that the EWC26 Paris Collection takes its design cues from Toile de Jouy, a French decorative textile style that dates back centuries and is known for its detailed pastoral and storytelling patterns. For this collection, the pattern has been reworked to include imagery tied to the tournament itself, such as the EWC Trophy and the Eiffel Tower.

Esports Leaders, the executive gathering at the 5-star Hôtel du Collectionneur will bring together senior decision-makers in and around esports and gaming during the closing days of the Esports World Cup. Find more details at this link.

Mohammad Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer of the Esports Foundation, said, “The world’s biggest sporting events are remembered through the moments they create and the symbols they leave behind. As the Esports World Cup grows, we’re beginning to build those traditions for esports. This collection is inspired by Paris, but it’s ultimately about the people who make the Esports World Cup what it is: the players, Clubs and communities who come together here every summer.”

The full EWC26 Paris Collection, including the jacket, is available through the EWC online shop and in person at Fan Fest. According to the Esports Foundation, additional pieces from the collection will continue to be released over the course of EWC’s seven-week run in Paris.

The AKOG Hotel partnership isn’t the only apparel deal the Esports Foundation has made this year. The organisation recently announced a partnership with Adidas for its upcoming Esports Nations Cup (ENC). Under the deal, Adidas will act as the event’s official kit partner and a Global Partner, supplying uniforms for every national team taking part in the first edition of the tournament. The Esports Foundation has already revealed the official France jersey for the tournament.
