The Esports Radar has learned that data and integrity infrastructure provider Runestone is already confirmed as a partner for the second (winter) Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major of 2027. While the tournament’s official organiser and host destination remain unannounced, the agreement ensures the company will maintain its active role as an Official Data and Integrity partner at the pinnacle of competitive Counter-Strike.

Under Valve‘s official tournament guidelines, details regarding official competitions and host cities must be publicised at least one year in advance. Consequently, official confirmation of the second 2027 Major’s location and operator is expected toward the end of 2026.

The agreement represents a new notable milestone for the data firm, which was founded barely two years ago by industry veteran Shane Clarke. The unannounced 2027 event will mark the fourth CS2 Major partnership for the startup. Runestone’s tournament portfolio already features the 2025 StarLadder Budapest Major and the PGL Major Singapore 2026 scheduled for later this year.

Furthermore, this newly uncovered deal secures a three-Major consecutive streak for the company, bridging the gap directly from Singapore 2026 through to the recently announced FiReMAJOR Buenos Aires 2027 in June—Argentina’s first-ever CS2 Major. 

CS2 is not the only title Runestone is active in. The firm also inked separate agreements with SURGE and NODWIN Gaming for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene, and with Raidiant for Overwatch. Additionally, the firm operated as the title partner for the Global Esports Industry Week 2026.
